About Us

Dr. Darin R. Cummings

Dr. Cummings (Dr. C), a native of Fillmore, Utah, founded the Eye Center of Ephraim in July 2000. He received his degree from the Indiana University School of Optometry, specializing in ocular disease and contact lenses. Upon opening the Eye Center, Dr. C made special efforts to ensure that his office had the most up-to-date technology in the industry. He has served as a member of the Board of Trustees for the Utah Optometric Association and currently assists the optometric members on insurance and billing inquiries. He and his wife, Becky, have five children: three girls and two boys. They reside in Sanpete County. If Dr. Cummings is not in his office working, you’ll find him enjoying the great outdoors, probably somewhere on a snowmobile. Call today and see what Dr. Cummings can do for your eyes!

Dr. Jacob M. Robison

Dr. Jacob Robison (Dr. R.) grew up in Fairview, UT, and is thrilled to be back in the area. Dr. R graduated with a degree from Indiana University School of Optometry, where he was trained in ocular disease and contact lenses. During his education, Dr. R had the opportunity to serve a three-month externship in Guanajuato, Mexico, where he treated many advanced cases of ocular diseases. Dr. Robison joined Dr. Cummings and his staff at The Eye Center of Ephraim in 2011.

Dr. R lives in Ephriam with his wife and two children. The whole family is fluent in Spanish. He and his family enjoy biking and try to never miss a Real Salt Lake soccer match. Call today to schedule your appointment with Dr. Robison!
